UNTOUCH YOUR FATHER'S BEARDS by mwl Godoni Yohana
POEM NO 7 Once upon a time A time of childhood Childhood of innocence, I did dare touch my father's beards But slaps escorted me like President by a guard. Once, long ago I learned that silence Is a sign of good morals Because in a meal time We were told,"tranquillity." Long, long time ago Universities had mouths Mouths as big and wide as suez canal But now Earthquakes filled them with dusts, And they can't talk nothing. You can touch your grandfather's beards But please Never your father's. Twenty zero five Is never similar to twenty fifteen as coffin and booth; But Dear uni... Speak, speak Speak the truth No matter the dusts No matter death Cause death is like food.
